I'm surprised at all the negative reviews. I've had a massage and facial here. The massage was a few minutes short on time, I will agree. But the facial was excellent and she didn't pressure me to buy products. I hate when they do that, it's a real buzz kill after getting all relaxed. Everyone is always really friendly as well.
I called to make an appointment and double check my member status. They said I was all set on the phone. My already paid for package cost $80 out of pocket! I was given misinformation and will never go back!
I am a member at this facility and have to say I got the worst massage and service. The massage therapist was very un-professional as was the manager. I was not given the full amount of time that was slotted for my appointment. The massage therapist knew that she shorted me of the time and asked me not to say anything to the manager. The manager was made aware of the situation and did not do anything about it. The massage therapist's nails were extremely long and were digging into my skin. There was not any fluidity to the massage as the therapist continued to move me from side to side and did not actually massage. She continued to talk throughout the process directing me to move each extremity. This was not a relaxing process. I ended up having to pay out of pocket for services that should have been covered because of the companies error. I would not recommend this location of Hand and Stone.
Very relaxing and highly recommended for a lot of students in college or other schools or even just people who seek stress relief! Friendly staff and I gain my confidence back for my biology final and I passed!
Please comment on how this spa helped you in stressful times. No bad language please be honest. I don't work here but you feel less tense afterwords!
far from relaxing ... the room was freezing and all I heard was conversations from the next room over the entire time. Very disappointed with this place waste of money.
