I think the relationship you have with God is reflected in people's day to day attitude. I have learned from the Pastor that your relationship is between you and God. Jesus loves me and together we must "wash each others feet".
Mark 6:3 Then they scoffed, "He's just a carpenter.....and they took offense." John 14:12 (Jesus said)" Believeth on me, the works that I do you shall do also; and greater" This gives me courage and strength that the Holy Spirit lives in true Christ followers. I am grateful for MBC, the church that loves God and people. In Gods economy less is more. You don't have to be perfect to be loved and used by our Heavenly Father, you just have to believe in Christ.
Their children's ministry and youth group was also something that impressed me years ago when I first started to attend. The kids are excited to be involved. The teens were obviously involved as they welcomed me.
I have since been involved in their many bible studies, Men's group and social events.
The Pastor, the previous Pastor, the Elders, Deacons are all so involved that you're sure to be satisfied with the availability of teachers.
why are they hiring people who are clearly unqualified for positions that need QUALIFICATIONS?! shall we hire a bus driver or a mechanic to lead the congregation now too?! This simply means that MBC is too lazy or they are either spiraling down so badly that they can't even go through the hiring process to find leaders with the proper education and background. This is sad. Once a vibrant church had diminished into a club with a guy who had a dream about a headless horseback rider coming to get him and decided to frame a whole sermon around that. what?! GREAAAAT job MBC.
Its an amazing church, i recommend you come here if you wanna feel like your in a family and if you wanna grow in your faith. Great people here.
I can't say enough nice things about MBC.
The church was able to allow me to get married and utilize there 120 person capacity Fellowship Hall for my reception.
The MBC family welcomed me with open arms the first time I attended. There warm and non judgemental attitude was truly reflective of their faith.
