Went there today about a space in between two teeth. Dr. Santos took care of it immediately with absolutely no pain. Love him and his staff. Everyone was so friendly!!
I am new to the Manahawkin area, and I woke up one morning with terrible tooth pain, my entire mouth hurt, just from one tooth. The week prior to waking up with this pain, I found a few dentists in the St. Mary's Bulletin, but one stood out the most to me. I am a baby when it comes to the dentist, and it said they use a "Magic Wand" for virtually pain-free anesthesia. That had me sold! I called the office, they had a pretty full schedule, but managed to get me in within the hour. It was a little hard to find, because the parking lot was a bit confusing, but I finally found it. After one X-ray I was told I had an infection and needed a root canal. They were able to do it the same day. Dr. Santos was very patient with me, understood how much of a baby I was, checked on me the entire time, stopped when he saw I was anxious to let me catch my breath. I would recommend him to any and everybody! He has awesome chairside manners, and his staff is great.
I can't possibly say enough great things about Dr. Santos....I had the same dentist for many years and when he took over the office I was nervous about a new dentist...I needed some dental work done for some time and he assured me I could trust him... so I did...I was so much more than happy with the work he did....On Christmas weekend (today) a piece of my tooth broke (it was only a temporary) and he traveled 2 hours to meet me in the office to fix it...WHO DOES THAT!!!! Well Dr. Santos did! He's sincere, knowledgeable and more than anything, an honest, extremely caring man....I highly recommend him...I'm still in awe that he traveled that far because he was so concerned about me....UNBELIEVABLE!
It took them six weeks to get back to me with the cost of the procedure. By the time that they did my dental insurance had expired. The receptionist does not answer the phone half the time.When I was in the waiting room it looked like she was too busy playing with her I phone to care about her job.
On vacation at the shore, I developed a bad toothache. Dr. Santos was able to schedule me in on the day I called, diagnose, and repair my tooth so that I could enjoy the remainder of my time away. I especially liked the wand method used for novocaine administration. I am OK with needles, but this was absolutely painless. The office was able to process my insurance during my visit so that I could pay my portion before I left. Dr. Santos can be my dentist when I retire down this way in a few years.
