Great gym, good machines and weights. Clean and well appointed.
First of all this place does not live up to its name - A "Lyceum" is a place linked in the development of science & philosophy a sanctuary. This gym is not even close to being a sanctuary its more of a torture, from my experience. I tried over the summer to cancle my membership and get my refund. It took 4 months of calling, chasing managers , writting repeated letters, continuously hounding until they would send the refund. Then they claimed they sent the check "Checks in the mail" which never came in the mail and I had to go through the whole process all over again. Like the other review said this company really does not care about its clients at all only charging you for a membership. If you dont take my word for it just go take a look at the Long Beach Island Location right across the street from Ron Jon in Ships Bottom, the place is so out dated , machines are old , rusted, broken, elipticals that dont even spin. Your better off buying a set of dumbells & hitting yourself over the head then giving this operation any business, dont say your were not warned.
the gym is beautiful! a must see and you will appreciate. all the equipment is new and well kept. everything is completely spaced out. i cant wait to go back.
Nice. .a little dated but overall pretty good
Great gym love the place love the atmosphere and the only thing I don't like is every time I get off work they seem to be closed or say that they're closing. Don't put up hours that say you're open until 7 o'clock at night and then I get there at 5:24 and the gym is closed. I don't think that's fair when I am paying for a membership. It's misleading . If I knew they weren't going to be open that late I would've joined another gym. People do work you know.
