Dr Nye an on call doctor refused my father to see his regular doctor who is affiliated with SOH. She is incompetent. I took my 82 year old father for a simple procedure to have his catheter change. The admitted him for no reason. He went in talking and walking. He called me Friday and asked me to bring him candy and Ice cream very lucid and coherent. My father complained that his shoulder hurt so Dr Nye without consulting his doctor me or my father gave him a fatal and lethal IV of a powerful pain killer called Dilantan. Well Dr Nye over dosed my father and they had to give my 82 year old father NarCan to reverse the effects. She also wanted to interbate and put my father on a respirator when his oxygen level was 95% and the stupid nurses went along with it. My father after this incompetent doctor overdosed him is now in the ICU and can't talk and has not eaten in two days. This hospital is a hellish nightmare based on how much money they can get from your insurance and incompetence. I forgot to mention the many lies this doctor told me and tried to get a way with.
I have kidney stones so I've had my fair share of hospitals and this was by far the worst. I started passing a kidney stone at the start of my summer vacation and this was by far the worst. First of all, to even get admitted was 20 minutes. And then when I did, I only got a bed in the middle of a high traffic hallway and never got a room of the three hours I was there. But every other patient did. I blame nurse Melanie. She messed up my IV and got blood all over my sheets and did not offer to replace them. She also splashed IV fluid and morphine in my face. I writhed in pain and she continued to talk to a co-worker and make small talk rather than give me assistance. On top of that the doctor proceeded to treat my medical condition as a joke! Drive the extra 20 minutes to a different hospital because you'll have to wait that long to be helped and this hospital will not do you any good.
Worst patient care my father ever received we were being treated locally by whom we thought was a compassionate and coordinated team. It was a terrible experience, if you have a choice don't get admitted or treated here.
The wait was horrible I got there at 1 I didn't get in till 6.the nurse's we're nice and the doctor who treated me was very nice as well.I do know its not there fault all the time for the wait.my fiance and I over heard a few people.you waste the doctor's time and nurse's if you are not at a hospital for a reason.and seeking drugs go to a rehab you are taking precious time away from people who are truly sick and that is highly wrong!.they are there to treat illness's not drug addiction that is why there are Rehab's! Thank you nurse's and doctors for all you do to try and help people who are truly sick and need help!
Absolutely worst hospital we have ever been to . My 16 daughter went in needing tranfer to a behavioral health she was isolated in a horrific wing forced to stay there like a criminal forced to be in a wing with drug addicts and adults with multiple mental health issues forcedto use the ONLY bathroom they were permitted to use and share with BLANTENT drug addicts, adults left in the hall urinating on themselves and THIS is what she had to be exposed to while dealing with some depression . Then after NOT being informed that if we decided to place her into a "program" we were NOT told she would be forced to stay there in that wing . She had to use a disgusting bathroom that may have exposed her to any risks associated with addicts with risky behavior. As a healthcare provider myself I know too much and Hep C, B is transmittable in those environments . They put her health at risk exposed her to high risk adults and have us no other option . We waited for 6 hours for my daughter to have her medication that they took and insisted on sending up to the pharmacy ONLY to have to DEMAND her be given it 3 hrs after she was supposed to have and the PM overnight nurse was RUDE about it . The swing shift nurse never even gave her some Tylenol. And my daughter had 8 stitches done I had to ask. We waited shift change ... 6 hrs later nothing had to ask again. RUDE RUDE nurses in that wing. 3 days we were finally transferred and we were told we were going to PHILLY the sent us to DOYLETOWN. They had to send her BACK to the hospital as DOYLESTOWN is way too far. The transport lady told us we were the 2nd family that week to be told the wrong facility .We were sent back and they had the AUDACITY to charge us for a SECOND ER Co Pay!!!!!!!!!! I will be seeing a lawyer . I have never ever had the urge to go after a facility but we were uniformed, treated like criminals, exposed my 16 yr daughter to high risk diseases and drug addicts then CHARGED us after they did not tell us the proper location for transport !!!!!! Last time my middle daughter went for abdomen pain she was sent home then called 15 minutes later that there was fluid in her Appendix region we had to go back I had to take her to another hospital in 8 inches of snow and be charged for a 2nd ER visit in 12 hours because they can't read an X-ray . Horrible horrible
