When I look back at Bay Transmission and think of the conversations I had with the owners, I develop a bad taste in my mouth. They treat you as if they care about your future or your everyday well-being, but after this I only feel like I've been conned into beleving that. The work they did on my car was overbearing and turned out to be un-needed. While it is my fault for falling for their scam and I do in fact blame myself for not picking up on it earlier, I have come to the conclusion that Bay Transmission is nothing but another scam Auto Center.
I then had taken my T-Bird to a new Auto Center who welded the hole shut for 50 bucks. Furthermore, they fixed the car's main issue for less than 500 and I was finally able to sell the car.
Amazing customer service, replaced my whole transmission for way cheaper than most places around the Toms River area. Treat you like you're important & their waiting area is spacious, with free wifi included! 5 stars!

I can't speak for other people's experiences but I can speak for mine and I can assure that my story is not over exaggerated. My experience at Bay Transmission was so negative that it finally pushed me to write my first ever online review. Hopefully, they clean up their act.
Fantastic customer service and quality work. Very thorough diagnostic service, and extremely quick transmission repair. Prices on the higher side of average, but the convenience is worth every penny. Highly recommended.
The story of Bay Transmission for me is long and upsetting. I had taken my 95' T-Bird for maintenance because of some issues I was having. The car was a fixer - upper but nothing that was overbearing. Especially since it was free. Bay Transmission had fixed everything from the belts to the gas pump and the issue was still not fixed. I had put 3 grand into this car and Bay Transmission could not get the job done. And while many people may read this review and say, "maybe it's the car", please wait for the end. Later on, I had developed a hole in the Catalytic Converter. So I had taken it to Bay Transmission because at the time I did indeed trust them and I liked the owners very much. This hole, which I knew would be a very easy fix and would not require a new CAT, was apparently too much for Bay Transmission to handle. So they suggested what any other chain Auto Center would; buy a new CAT. I told them no.
