I recently stopped by Manahawkin Auto Sales with my sister to show her a car I was thinking about getting my son. Well needless to say after meeting their salesman Jim, who was friendly and knowledgeable, my sister decided she wanted a new car. Jim was patient and went over all the pros and cons of her choices. They even took her car as a trade which she owed more money than it was worth and it had a cracked windshield and a bad muffler. Car shopping isn't easy but Manahawkin Auto Sales makes it as simple as possible and my sister left very happy. I will be back when its time to buy my son a car!!
Decent selection. That is where the positive ends. Went to purchase a vehicle and it had clearly bad brakes, a bulge on the sidewall of one of the tires and the timing had not been replaced. I informed them about the issue, thinking they would repair it before I purchase the vehicle. Guess again. They wanted ME to pay for the repairs on a car I did not own yet! As I was explaining the issues, the salesman was making the price go up!
The sales staff is very easy going, very professional, no pressure to buy. They let you test drive anything you want to. They gave me a good trade in value for my older truck. Rich was great to work with for the best financing deal. Rich and James were so great I traded in my SUV for a newer one at the same time. If your in the market for a used vehicle this is the place to go! When I am ready to trade in again I will definitely go back!
Had an amazing experience here. My salesman Richard was outstanding and helped me tremendously. He even went out of his way to get me an affordable rate in my price range. I would recommend anybody to come here if you're looking for a used car.
This was my second experience with Manahawkin Auto Sales. I purchased a truck about 5 yeas ago and just traded it in for a newer one.
We first walk in meet James the Sales Mgr. very personable and attentive to our needs right off the bat. We test drive 3 vehicles we come back he says I think I have a good feeling about you guys I have something you're gonna love. Puts in the perfect car with our criteria plus a convertible. The man was spot on. Next while we're talking price the OWNER. T.J. comes over to offer us water. Nice touch. The money is right we go to the finance Mgr. Rich who was fantastic, he really knows his stuff,and even had a few suggestions on some other questions we had on an array of different subjects. EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND PEOPLE WHO REALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND THEIR BUSINESS!!
